eResearch Australasia 2011 : eXtreme eResearch is held from 6th until 11th November 2011 at the Sebel & Citigate Albert Park (Melbourne).The conference will provide you with plenty of opportunities to engage,
connect, and share your ideas and examples about new information centric
research capabilities: how information and communications technologies
help researchers to collect, manage, share, process, analyse, store,
find, and re-use information.
The conference features speakers and demonstrations from the Australian and international eResearch community and provides:
•A catalyst for innovation and collaboration, by bringing together researchers, practitioners, and educators from diverse disciplines;
•A forum to support the development, enhancement, and harmonisation of national, regional, and discipline-specific eResearch infrastructures and services;
•A showcase for innovative science and research enabled through these technologies and services.
eResearch Australasia is run by The University of Queensland on behalf of the sector.
Start the week Sunday evening at the welcome reception. On Monday morning the conference begins, with three days of featured speakers, presentations, birds-of-a-feather sessions, point/counterpoint debates, and posters. The week finishes with workshops on Thursday.
