AARNet Work Experience Program: Program Compliance Information

The AARNet Work Experience Program is compliant with all state-based requirements.

All work experience carried out by the AARNet Work Experience Program is governed by State-based legislation or Ministerial Orders and is compliant with all state-based requirements.

AARNet is only able to accommodate work experience requests that are facilitated by the applicable state-based forms and processes.

Once a request has been received, AARNet will provide the applicable forms to the requesting school or tertiary institution to be provided to interested students.

To begin the Work Experience Program, the student will need to:

  • Sign and return the AARNet Work Experience Agreement prior to their first day of placement.
  • Complete the following learning modules on their first day prior to commencing any tasks with AARNet:
    • Code of Conduct
    • Workplace Health and Safety
    • Equal Opportunity
    • Introduction to Cyber Security
