AARNet Work Experience Program: Maintain Workstream

The Maintain Workstream focuses on network overview and management tools, components of the network and a data centre tour with the AARNet Operations Team.

Want to find out what it’s like to operate and maintain Australia’s Academic and Research Network?

The Maintain Workstream gives you a glimpse of providing and maintaining a high-speed network within a national telecommunications company. You’ll work with the AARNet Operations team to participate in network management, support ticket and incident handling, and identification of the multiple components that deliver connectivity from the data centre to the customer.

Students can participate in the Maintain Workstream at AARNet’s Brisbane, Perth or Sydney offices.
