Daniel Buttigieg is the Director of Enterprise Technology at the University of Melbourne. 

Daniel is an established technology executive with over 25 years of experience in the Victorian higher education sector. He brings a wealth of knowledge in implementing, securing, and scaling large-scale technology solutions spanning network modernisation, enterprise platform transformation, and resilient digital infrastructure designed to enable world-class academic and research capabilities. 

As a long-term member and former Chair of the Victorian Directors of IT (VDIT), Daniel has a proven track record of strategic advocacy and sector-wide collaboration, ensuring that digital infrastructure serves as a resilient and ethical catalyst across the education sector.
