AARNet Work Experience Program: Build Workstream

The Build Workstream focuses on network construction, maintenance and logistics with the AARNet Infrastructure Development Group.

Want to find out what it’s like to participate in building Australia’s Academic and Research Network?

The Build Workstream gives you a glimpse of working in a range of roles within a national telecommunications company. You’ll work with the AARNet Infrastructure Development Group (IDG) to participate in network design, logistics, construction, route selection and maintenance tasks.

This workstream’s activities are dependent on the chosen office and current works at the time of placement.

Students can participate in the Build Workstream at AARNet’s Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra offices.

What will you do at each office?
