AARNet joins Australian Carpentries partnership to uplift digital skills for researchers

AARNet is joining a partnership between 10 Australian research institutions to train instructors in The Carpentries digital research skills

AARNet is pleased to be part of a new partnership announced today between 10 Australian research institutions to train instructors in The Carpentries digital research skills.

As one of the largest such partnerships worldwide, it gives research institutions in Australia equal access to instructor training for The Carpentries at a reduced rate throughout 2022.

The 10 partner national infrastructure providers and universities are:

The Carpentries is an international organisation that teaches foundational coding and data science skills through workshops to researchers around the world. The partnership will provide instructor training workshops during 2022 to equip instructors with the skills required to teach data, software and library carpentries.
