AARNet Board extends Chris Hancock’s contract as CEO for three years

AARNet's Board of Directors has announced the extension of Chris Hancock AM’s contract as Chief Executive Officer to 1 July 2025.

Sydney, Australia - 17 August 2022. The Board of AARNet (Australia’s Academic and Research Network) today announced the extension of Chris Hancock AM’s contract as Chief Executive Officer to 1 July 2025.

“I am delighted to announce that the Board has extended Chris’s contract,” said Chair of the AARNet Board Professor Emeritus Ian O’Connor AC. “Chris’s energy and enthusiasm for our company, coupled with the exciting strategic initiatives he is already advancing, made it both a logical step, and an optimal choice, for the Board to extend his term as CEO. I am very pleased that Chris has accepted this extension and look forward to AARNet’s continued development under his leadership.”
