The AARNet IGLEw (Immersive Global Learning Environment) hits the road in March and heads to regional New South Wales for Rotary's New England TechFest.
The IGLEw is an inflatable immersive 3D theatre that combines gaming technologies and visualisation tools to provide interactive learning experiences in a visually rich setting. The IGLEw is a huge hit with school students and teachers at AARNet-connected schools. Connectivity to high-speed broadband enables access real-time data from science and research organisations in Australia and across the globe. TechFest visitors of all ages will be able to experience fly-through tours of the Universe and other exciting immersive interactive programs.
