Your institution or organisation will have one of these 3 basic user levels assigned to it. When your account is activated it is added to your appropriate user group and the appropriate user level is assigned to your account automatically and your user level assigned is included in your welcome email sent from NVCS Support upon activation.
Multipoint SchedulerThe Multipoint Scheduler is a single screen conference booking system available to all user levels. You can nominate a date and time, reoccurances, additional notification recipients, recording & streaming options all from the one page. To schedule a conference simply enter in the desired information on the one screen and click on submit to validate your reservation.
MCU Reservation SchedulerThe MCU Reservation Scheduler is a more advanced, multi-screen scheduling system which gives you many more options included in the Multipoint Scheduler as well as advance layout control, specific MCU options and MCU capacity information.
When making a reservation you are taken through a series of options, screen by screen whereby you can finally submit your reservation for validation.
Dial In To MCU AccessDial In To MCU Access is standard for all MCU conference reservations by default. This means when making a reservation you will be given dial in instructions to dial into your conference using IP, ISDN conferencing systems and PSTN/Landline/Mobile phones.
Dial Out From MCU AccessDial Out From MCU Access is optional to Intermediate & Advanced Access users. This allows you to nominate rooms available to your institutional group to be included in the reservation as dial-out rooms. When the conference launches on the MCU these rooms will be dialed out from the MCU and connected to automatically, providing they have automatic answer enabled.
This is often the preferred method to schedule a conference enabling a conference to be scheduled and setup automatically with no user intervention needed to connect up to their conference.
