The road show in Perth included amongst others, representatives from The University of Western Australia, Curtin University, Edith Cowan University and Murdoch University.
Talks were given from James Sankar on the WA survey that was conducted as part of the registration process, together with an update on the National Video Conferencing Service from Maggie, an overview of video developments from Jason and experiences from Brett on building, supporting and publishing content live and on demand for a number of events that AARNet has supported this year.
Two keynote talks took place, one from Killco Caballero of Tandberg via video from the USA, the other from Tim Chapman of Aethra who presented in person. Both keynote talks were made available live as Ozeconferences where a number of attendees participated via video.

Killko's talk discussed the impacts and opportunities for video
communications, that arise from the growing deployment of Unified
Communication platforms.

Tim's talk covered Aethra Globalisation effort in Australia, with
case studies in the Education and Research sector. He also covered
video conferencing, telepresence and unified communications current
market trends in Australia.
